Photo Journalism
"A picture is worth one thousand words" is one of the core philosophies of the Noblesville journalism programs. As someone who grew up consuming sports media as much as possible, growing up photography and videography were some of my earliest attractions to journalism. Below, I have included some of my personal favorite pictures.

Miller football fans cheer as Logan Shoffner scores the first touchdown of the night to put the Millers up 7-0 against Ft. Wayne Homestead. The Millers would go on to win 42-0 to start their 2023 season 2-0.

A statue modeled after the famous Borg-Warner Trophy overlooks fans entering the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The speedway hosted nearly 100,000 fans last weekend for qualifying weekend ahead of next weeks Indy 500.

Junior Gage Gulley warms up before taking the field for the second half of Noblesville's conference season opener against the Fishers Tigers. Gulley would go to lead the Millers in rushing in the second half racking up 55 yards on just five carries.

Noblesville senior student section leaders, Alex Peck (left) and Garrick Addison (right), cheer on fellow seniors Logan Shoffner and Abraham Baker. The two are a part of a group of seniors who paint their backs in honor of a different player each game day.

All-Conference junior Ronnie Neal heads to the starting line at the Rick Weinheimer Cross Country Classic in Columbus Indiana. Neal went on to finish 11th overall leading the Millers to a 24-point win.
MILLER XC PHOTO ESSAY
Early in the 2023 cross country season, the Miller’s cross country team was competing at a level equal to any team in the nation and peaked with a top 15 national ranking before getting hit with injuries that eventually derailed their season. During the peak of their season, I traveled down to Columbus to catch the team at their biggest meet of the season. On the right is a photo essay designed by another talented journalist on our Mill Stream staff using my photography.
